All
Outa Ware pants are unisex. For women I have found that they
like less fabric around the waist and do not mind a tight fit while
sliding the pants over the hips. For this reason I have
included a maximum hip measurement. This measurement is 2"
less than the total circumference of fabric at the waist. For a
loose baggy fit follow the men's sizing chart.
*
I
have found that a 31" inseam is a good standard for the average
person. However I usually have tall and short sizes in stock.

How
to Measure
Bust
/ Chest
If
possible, get a friend to help. With arms relaxed at your sides,
measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to
the floor.
Arm
Bend
your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Hold the tape
at the center back of your neck (C7). With a friend's help, measure across
your shoulder to your elbow, and down to your wrist. The total length
in inches is your sleeve length.
Waist
Measure
around your waist, in your underwear, at the point where your
trousers would normally ride.
Hips
(Butt)
Stand
with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your
hips (butt), keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Inseam
In
a relaxed stance measure from tight up in your crotch to your ankle
bone. This will give you
your ACTUAL inseam measurement and is a good length for ski
pants/bibs and short River Pants to be worn with sandals.
For longer pants to be worn with hiking boots add about 2
inches to eliminate the floods look.
Or you can select a pair of your best-fitting pants of a
similar material. Lay the pants flat and measure from the center of
the crotch to the bottom of one leg. The number of inches is the inseam length.
Torso
Length
Stand
up straight and have a friend measure from cervical vertebra 7 (C7)
to your waist. **Note- The normal measurement for a man is 19"-
21" and for a women it is16"- 17".
Garment
Length**
These
measurements are provided in my sizing charts as guidelines. You can
compare these measurements to your own garment when planning your
custom Outa Ware order.
The
garment length is measured straight down the back of the
garment. Measure from the point where the collar is sewn to the
body of the garment down to the hem.
